# Token Overview ## Overview LEX is the native token of Lexari AI and is the key to bootstrap, sustain, and grow the Lexari AI ecosystem by enabling value exchange, access control, and governance. By holding and staking LEX, users can contribute to the Lexari AI ecosystem, earn rewards for active engagement, unlock premium platform features and participate in shaping the future of Lexari AI. ## Total Token Supply Max Supply: 1,000,000,000 LEX tokens The LEX token is non-inflationary with a fixed hard cap. There is no burn mechanism and circulating supply will increase gradually per the vesting schedule, without exceeding the cap. ## Token Allocation Token allocation is divided into four main groups: Investors, Core Contributors, Community & Ecosystem, and Initial Airdrop. ### Core Contributors (20%): Support Ongoing Development of Lexari AI Allocated to core contributors.
